Lane has been wanting to go fishing with Dan since last fall when Dan started steelhead fishing. We heard that a local pond had just been stocked and it was a beautiful spring day yesterday so Dan finally took Lane fishing. Lane was excited to catch three fish, even though initially he wanted to catch four since he is four years old. It was fun to hear him tell me about his fishing trip. He was beaming when he got home and showed me his fish. Dan was beaming a little too to share this fun moment with Lane.Mar 24, 2010
Lane's First Fish

Yay, what a fun memory. Good job buddy! Did Dan help like my dad did...like "oh um here grab my pole for a sec, while I bait yours"
Dan did hook the fish initially then let Lane reel it in.
