Merry Christmas

We had a great Christmas at the Heaton household this year.  We spent Christmas Eve making cookies for Santa, reading the Christmas story in Luke 2, opening our Christmas pajamas, and watching "The Santa Clause", a movie that always gets me in the mood for Christmas.  After that it was off to bed to wait for the big guy to visit.  We woke Christmas morning to full stockings and each a book from Santa.  The boys had fun finding all their treasures in their socks and opening gifts from Mom and Dad, Grandma, Grandpa-Grandpa, and Papa and Ma'am.  We had a yummy breakfast and played with new toys for the day in our jammies.  We were surprised with snow in the afternoon that was actually sticking and continued through the night, and the boys had fun today shoveling walks and making this snowman.  I am thankful for my family of 4 boys now.  I am thankful for Christmas and the opportunity it gives me to reflect on the birth of my Savior, Jesus Christ, and also teach the importance of the season to my boys.  Merry Christmas!
