3 Quick Months

Life is somewhat returning to normal after having a new baby.  Updating the blog will be one step closer.  Quick updates on our household: Dan, is busy working, going to the gym, and shooting whistle pigs. JaNeil, is busy working as mom and back to work as physical therapist, going to CrossFit, and soaking up the joys of a new baby.  Lane is busy with school, learning to read better, learning to add and subtract bigger numbers, and excited for warmer weather to ride bikes and play soccer.  Owen is busy learning to read, watching TV, playing the laptop, and wanting to do fun crafts and experiments.  Grae is busy, busy, busy.  Mom has a hard time keeping up with his messes, especially now with a new one.  He doesn't like to be told no and is pretty good at throwing a fit.  He is sleeping in a toddler bed now and mom is trying to help him learn to potty train.  Emet is growing like a weed, as you can see from the pictures below.  We get lots of comments on all his hair and it sticking up everywhere.  He is smiling lots now and trying to laugh.  He likes to swing, has discovered toys are fun, and likes to be up looking around at what is going on.  As you can see, he has a red mark on his little nose.  The doctor said it is a birthmark that will grow the first year with his nose, but then will not grow more as he grows, and will most likely be gone by age 10.  I have noticed it becoming more noticeable and the pictures confirm.  He also has one on his right arm below his elbow.  Poor little baby has a red nose, dry skin on his face, and cradle cap.  Time will correct all these baby blemishes and he is still beautiful to his mom.  Dan blessed Emet on February 3, 2013.  We are thankful for the priesthood in our home and moments like these we can enjoy.  Spring is upon us and the boys are out playing now.  We love spring!
