Lane's Baptism

Lane made the decision to be baptized and become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  We are happy he made this choice and is setting a good example for his brothers.  Lane had the opportunity to be baptized with his good friend, Ty Webster.  They have been good friends at church and school.  Recently, the Fruitland wards were changed and a fourth ward was created.  We are still in the 1st ward, but now travel to Payette to attend church since the Fruitland building can only hold 3 wards.  This change has come with some anxiety to go somewhere new and sadness as we lost half of our ward family.  Someday we hope that Fruitland will grow enough for 5 wards and a new building be built and we return to Fruitland and seeing our friends in the hallways on Sunday.  With the new ward came new callings.  I am blessed to be able to return to serving the Young Women as the 1st Counselor.  I was surprised by this call as I just served as Secretary from August 2012 to May 2013, but am way excited to be back.  Dan was called as one of the wolf den leaders in cub scouts and gets to be Lane's leader.
