First Day of School

Today was the first day of school for Lane and Owen.  Lane started 2nd grade with Mrs. Schilling and Owen started kindergarten with Mrs. Lewellen.  They were both super excited to go to school today.  No anxiety or fear in our house.  Grae wanted to be like his brothers so he put on the little backpack we have and we all walked down to the bus stop together.  He waved goodbye to his brothers when they left and was as happy as could be.  Lane's favorite thing about today was making new friends, school lunch, and recess.  Owen's favorite thing was making a bear and playing blocks with another little boy named Owen.  I find it ironic that there are 2 little boys named Owen in kindergarten this year and out of 130 students and 6 classes they are in the same one.  Maybe they will become the best of friends.  I have started to work in the mornings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday since Owen has AM kindergarten.  It will be nice to be home when the boys are done with school.  I even made cookies today for an after school snack!  I am glad school is back in.  It makes me be more organized and structured in the home.  The boys will hopefully fight less now that they are not together every minute of the day.  It will give me more alone time with Grae before little brother comes.  Speaking of little brother, we have our list of names down to a short list now, but still might add some if we find or hear any we really like.  The names are Finn (a favorite for all), Stone (Dan's favorite), Nash (Lane's favorite), Emet (my favorite), and Rhet (Uncle Cade's suggestion that is growing on me).  The middle name will be Neil or Harper.  Maybe we will have to take the list to the hospital and name him after we see what he looks like.
